Olivia Rose- Recovered

I was starting to think that my Olivia Rose would never recover. Zone 8b DFW. Last week I started to see a few small blooms but they all had brown edges (what causes that?) Now, I finally have what I think is just a perfect rose. Just when you think you want to give up on a rose, they give you this.

Finally some cooler weather

This is my first year growing roses in north Texas and I have been so disappointed in how my roses performed. Everything started out pretty good in the spring, but then the triple digit weather went on forever.
I added umbrellas but the roses still struggled and some did not bloom at all. I finally have a few blooms; I hope next year will be better. Should I just not expect blooms in July and August or do I need to purchase different types of roses? Any tips for a new rose gardener? Mystery pink rose, Olivia Rose, Marc Chagall and what I believe is Eden.

New rose delivery to Texas

I tried resisting the estate sale, but I have no will power. I was worried about the high temperatures but ai decided to take the chance because a few weeks ago I took advantage of Jackson and Perkins sale and those roses did okay.
Those roses were not defoliated like this one. How long should I leave it under the sunshade in the shipping pot? I am worried the bare roots will cry in the 100 degree heat, but at the same time I know that the growers pot is also not ideal. What have others done?

Help! I am killing it

I have only had this plant for a week and it’s dying on me. I am new to gardening in North Texas(Canadian) and my plants are frying. The plant was wilting in the sun so I started watering it every day. Then the leaves started to yellow so I decided to give the plant morning sun and from noon on it was under a shade cloth. It still wilted. This time I didn’t water it because I wanted to see if it would bounce back later in the evening- no luck. What should I do to save it and get it back to a healthy state?

Tournament of Roses

This was one of the first bare root roses that I planted. I ordered it from Jackson and Perkins and it was really slow to grow in comparison to the Olivia Rose Austin that I planted at the same time. Now it is finally blooming and I think that it’s so pretty. EDIT- I think they sent me the wrong rose. Tournament is supposed to be coral pink
