Proportional Pay

Good Morning Fellow Dashers,
If anyone could help shed some light on the subject please do. I spoke to not only a representative but, a supervisor for this issue. I went to shop an order at Dicks Sporting Goods, it was for a couple pair of shoes no biggie. The order offer was $20 for under 10
miles ( not too shabby in my book)! I did my job, I looked for the items, attempted to find suitable substitutes, communicated with the customer etc. Unfortunately this location simply didn’t have the sizes she needed so she canceled the order, i immediately got on the phone with DoorDash support to get ahead on getting some pay for my time and effort. Apparently half pay isn’t a thing anymore and I quote “ hasn’t been for months”, I’m already in rare element today so I was like going to toe to toe with this representative and the “ supervisor”. I kept a measured tone, didn’t raise my voice or sore or used any sort of profanity. Obviously I was upset and confused, only to be met with no clear answer at all. I have now only received barely $2. When not even LAST weekend I received half pay for a similar situation.
Does it just depend on the order ? Does it matter that I’m a woman ? Or is this just a new thing we have to grin and bare?
Before anyone says the inevitable comment of how I choose to dash , I should know how this works blah blah blah… dashing has been my only source of income for over a year now. I don’t see my friends, I don’t anything fun all I do is work otherwise I’d be homeless and starving. We are all trying the best we fucking can with what we have, I’m sure other dashers can sympathize/ empathize. Dashing has the been the most convenient and quickest way to get any sort of income. I have done my absolute best to keep it together but fuck this heat isn’t helping. The kicker is that the “supervisor” couldn’t even explain to me how they measure the proportion pay either… I’m like this isn’t gonna help me so I just said thanks for enlightening me and hung up.
I know I need to breathe and calm down a minute. If anyone could please show me proof / explain of when they started to do this proportion pay bullshit, I welcome your candor.

Y’all stay safe out there. Stay hydrated!

LGBTQIA Married Couple + 2 Small Dogs

Good Morning, I wanted to ask out right because so far my wife’s and I’s search for a temporary home/ lease take over / long term rental truly anything hasn’t been going well. So I decided to just ask out right because we’re getting down to the wire here and we need more stable housing that is lgbtq friendly and pet friendly. Our dogs Lola and Rosie, are small breed dogs, they’re house trained and are super friendly. Is there anyone and/or any listing in this group that will accept an lgbtq married couple and two small dogs?
We’ve been looking for MONTHS, if not close to a year now and we still haven’t found a viable option for us. The private landlords we’ve reached out to will either say no pets or single tenant only. A pessimistic side of me often wonders if that’s just them being homophobic but I digress. My wife and I aren’t big social people, we don’t drink except at a wedding ( which happens like once a year ) or use hard drugs, we aren’t super loud or messy or obnoxious. We keep to ourselves, we’re pretty introverted and we keep a clean space. All of our loved ones / friends / family live far away so they’d probably never if ever come over to visit. The dogs are small breeds under 20 pounds, are house trained and will only use the bathroom on walks which they get walked 4-5 times a day. We’re looking for a basement unit / studio/ 1bed 1bath/ with a kitchen / kitchenette with washer + dryer for under 2k. It would be more ideal if the rental was in or near ( like 30 / 40 minutes tops ) from Centerville. Any suggestions/ recommendations are welcome
