GiJoe at StarCom Scale
Hear me out. We can argue that Classified has 10 more years all we like but the fact is that unless they start re-releasing stuff, we’re close to being done with figures.
Vehicles are a different story but I think the opportunity here is limited. Big, expensive and should be coordinated with figures (that ship has sailed).
I’d like to focus on “big” rather than expensive. With that in mind, what would we think of a new GiJoe series, focused on vehicles at Starcom scale (2” scale). I’d even add the twist that they could implement the starcom gimics: magnets and spring release mechanisms.
Think about it:
* skystriker 12” with wings and landing gear that pop out on their own
* rattler with wings that flip on their own
* whale with all kinds of pop outs
* Push button cockpits everywhere
* hiss with magnetic boards rather than foot pegs
I’d be all in and rebuy everything!!!
