Interview rant
I recently finished my panel interview with tesla for a data analyst role .its a new team and the work is interesting . I did very well since I’ve been interviewing from the last 18 months( immigrant and need sponsorship). after interview I’ve felt i did good but i learned to keep my hopes low since this is a very rough/unpredictable market.
just a couple days after my interview i noticed a role opened in the same team with same responsibilities . the only difference is the role is meant for someonewho has 1-3 YOE.
I was very certain that i was gonna get rejected and I was right the very next day. can anyone tell why this is happening in company like tesla? its very clear that they made changes after interviewing candidates. I also think that a new grad or junior would struggle or feel overwhelmed coz the open ended nature of the role.
anyways, I learned something out of this and Im onto the next one. will appreciate any suggestion you may have for me. Thank you!
