— Keepsake: set in Meridian Cut, a quarry settlement with unusual continuity laws. As one household comes under pressure, the story turns toward questions of obligation, inheritance, and what it really means to keep a life intact after loss.
— Landfall: a convoy nears arrival after a long crossing, and the people aboard begin to realize that surviving the journey was only the first part. The harder question is what gets to remain whole once arrival becomes administration.
