why is my osap so low?

Title. I know its not a lot compared to what I'm seeing others have on this subreddit but my tuition is going to be around $8200 and OSAP is estimating me at $300 grants and $6400 loans, so $6700. I'm not even going to begin with the grant to loan ratio due to Ford because I'm going to get too angry. But I entered no scholarship money and no government benefit so I don't even know why they're not giving me enough to cover the full amount. I'm so stressed out.

EDIT: okay sometimes people automatically think higher income = better living standards but you need to understand my parents BARELY cross the threshold. We're in negatives every month because of interest rates and mortgage, loans, etc. And yeah, whether that's my parents fault for spending beyond their means is up for debate, but it puts students at this specific level in a really tough spot. I am in no position to ask them for money. And yes, it's going to have to come down to working during the summer. But they honestly could use that money too. It's a tough situation all around.

Helloo im going into second year and I'm very interested in a global health major but I'm not the best at writing. I'm trying to maintain a high GPA so is a global health major worth it for someone interested in holistic approaches to health + isn't great at writing assignments? I'm also doing two minors in immunology and physiology if that makes a difference. I'm really methodolical with the way I choose my courses so im not trying to go too much out of my comfort zone. Appreciate any help!

Also if anyone did a global health major, could you let me know what courses you did that you did well in? It seems like a lot of the required courses are very hard lmao
