So I’m scheduled for my revision surgery next month. I had two artificial discs put in my cervical spine last year. Well the second disk failed and now they have to remove the disk and convert it into a fusion. My new surgeon doing the procedure is Dr. Alan Lozier at SSM. Has anyone had him for a surgery or know anyone who has? He has good reviews and I like him. I’m just nervous as the second surgery last year was possibly surgeon error. Any info is greatly appreciated

Feel weird asking this. How do you make friends here in Madison? All of my family is in Texas. Lived here for awhile just my wife and I. I’ve been on medical leave for almost 16 months now. I’ll be having a third cervical spinal surgery soon. My last old co worker I hung out with moved a few months ago. With all the surgeries and other things wife has decided to leave me and get a divorce. I can’t move back to Texas right now as my insurance and drs are here in Madison. I know nobody outside of the ex. Just looking to meet friends to go to a bar and watch a game (not a huge drinker anymore) or get coffee etc. I’m 42 year old male. How the hell do you meet people to hang out with? Going through a rough time and could use some friendship while I can still get out of the house. Sorry if this is weird or not the right place to post. Any ideas is greatly appreciated, thank you
