[MAY26] The one we called Mother used to call us back from the yard where we played, always before the twilight's descent, saying Father would be "back" soon

Each evening we stayed hunkered in our cabin barricaded by garlic garlands, the monster outside wheezing in despair, "Invite me in and give me back my children you evil hag!"

I had a anal fissure for the longest time (1yr+) that turned into a fistula. It's been a week since my surgery. I don't think it was too invasive and complex, they simply made an incision and did the drainage.

The issue is however I have constipation from the surgery afterwards. I drink tonnes of water. I take in loads of fiber and still it's not going away. I'm even having stool softeners/laxatives as prescribed.

In my follow up my doctor said to just increase water and fiber intake but what else can I do?

At this point I have serious concerns that some medicine is causing me this. I'm already done with the antibiotics course and have some auxiliary meds for some time which I think I will stop.

I have already stopped my antipsychotics out of sheer fear. Not sure what I can do at this point and I'm scared of this not healing.

Has anyone faced this? Is there anything I can do to get better?
