I went hunting and found myself a haul of rabbit that should keep us alive for a while.

The fish and everything else are gone now, and I’m starting to wonder how long this can really last.

"I'm grateful that when I asked for forgiveness for not noticing you being bullied, you chose to forgive me," the teacher said to the little boy.

"I hope you can forgive once more, because the bully's father offered money, and I told him that it was you who made the complaint against his son to the principal," she added.

When we failed to duplicate subject 37's abilities it laughed saying, "there can only ever be one of me never more."

We terminated the specimen to prevent its use against us, but my body seized as I heard in my mind 'nor can there ever be less than one."

Mommy told me that if I ever get lost, I should find a woman with a child for help.

The children in town always whispered that the house at the end of the street was haunted, claiming its ghost possessed anyone who entered and left them changed forever.

The detective broke down in tears when he searched the house, finding not a monster, but just an ordinary man.

My brother-in-law was driving my wife and her twin home when they crashed, but my wife was the only survivor.

My wife and I purchased the new LifeModel gynoid maid to help around the house.

"I love your wife so much," 3M1LY stood over me with a large knife, eyes glowing red in the darkened room, "and you are in the way."

My two daughters were home alone at their father's second floor apartment, a block away from mine, when they texted and said they saw firemen outside.

By the time I got there, sprinting the whole way, the entire side of the house was engulfed.

I was surprised when the uncle I hadn't seen since I was twelve, left me something in his will with the explanation "I feel we're the same".

As I open suitcase after suitcase in the storage unit to find each stuffed with bones and hair, I must say I think he was right.

My identical twin toddlers were so adorable chasing each other around and around the lake house.

They must be getting tired, it's taking each one twice as long to make it around the house.

When the dispatcher's voice came through, asking me what my emergency was, I frantically gave my address and told her that I'd been shot.

"I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that. Please choose from the following options..."

As I hit the pitch black water , I tried to orient myself and kicked as hard as I could towards the surface.

Just as my lungs reached their breaking point and I just had to take a breath, my hand broke through the water and deep into the sand.
