Are there any good options for online therapy?

I have been really struggling with life at the moment, and I just feel like I need to seek professional help. I constantly feel like my mind is a warzone, overthinking and getting overwhelmed by life. If anyone could recommend a platform that offers therapy, that would be great.

How do you handle cocky beginners trying advanced styles like the Mayweather shoulder‑roll?

I'm not trying to say that every single beginner boxer is cocky, but for the small few that are cocky I've been noticing some of them trying to imitate the Floyd Mayweather shoulder‑roll style.

Obviously it's an amazing style when done correctly, and I think it's a really good style. But I’m seeing people copy the “look” of it without the underlying mechanics. I've seen some beginners do things like leaning forward, hands low, and trying to bait punches they don’t have the timing for. As someone who does kickboxing, this would be risky since the stance exposes you to kicks and causes accidents.

I'm just curious to know to anyone out there who does Kickboxing, Muay or boxing Thai feel about beginners trying to use advanced styles like this.

What is the most Average person you can think of? And is it a positive thing to be average?

My definition is someone who sticks to trends and always tries to fit in. Acting impulsively. Not especially confident and never questioning rules and topics. Goes to the gym sometimes but never consistently. Gets common haircuts and never steps outside of their comfort zone.

Watches sports and only sports teams depending on how well they do. Predictable and forgettable; goes to social events occasionally but sticks to the crowd like a sheep. They are very conformist amongst groups and work in accounting (idk I just thought of the most boring job imo). Lives in the city or suburbs and has a small friend group of people they met in High School.

This sounds quite negative for the average person, but in the US, the average person seems to be doing fine, though not great. A lot of people try their best to be "Above Average" even if they are statistically average. It's called the illusory superiority effect, in a nutshell, meaning that they are above the average person. Funny enough, in the dating world, people try to look for "Above Average" looking people to feel fulfilled.

Personally, instead of trying to be superior to the average person, I feel like we should try to be different. Pursue a career or goal. Try something new and push outside of your comfort zone.

Is the looks the only way in life?

I know that's a really stupid question, but I'm just making sure I don't go crazy since my friend who got obsessed with "looksmaxxing" and trying to improve his looks to the best of his ability. Now I'm starting to think looks is the only way in life, which I know is definitely not true.

If you were young again, what would you do differently?

I'm currently young, so let me know what I should be doing right now so that I won't need to regret it later on.

I knocked someone out and now I feel terrible

Just today, I was sparring against someone who came from a boxing club into our Muay Thai class. Now I try my best to go light during sparing, but the only issue is my kicks, which, if I go too slow with them, would be easy to catch. So when I do kick, I only flick it, and I don't go 100% with the kicks.

Anyways, while I was sparing this guy, he slipped to his right side, then I threw a left kick to his head, and he instantly dropped down. From that moment, I got extremely worried, and I got down, and he was completely out. Then I shouted to my coach, and he ran over and asked what happened and stuff. Luckily, the person whom I just knocked out got back up, but not in the best condition. He was trying to talk, but everything he was saying didn't make sense.

After that incident, I was constantly apologising to him, saying how it was my mistake for going too hard or just stupid. My coach said to me, " Stuff like this happens", and my dad was there and saw the incident and pretty much said the same thing.

The only issue tho is now I have a target on my back from all the other members of the class, which is making me consider quitting completely or moving clubs. Once again, stuff like this happens, but if it happens in a beginner class. Then I should change clubs, since there are no regulations on weight and who you can spar with, from what I can tell.

(If anyone's gonna ask, yes, the person I was sparing with was kicking as well and not just boxing)

Edit: For those wondering why I feel like I have a target on my back, I mentioned it in this reply here: https://www.reddit.com/r/martialarts/comments/1t7icpk/comment/okpcd46/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

If someone trains every day vs the person who goes once a week. The person who trains every day is gonna get better. But if that person who went once a week trains outside of classes, would they then catch up to the level of someone who goes to every class?
