Sebago loafer sizing

I'm now choosing a new size for my Sebago classic dan loafers. I've had size eu 42 regular but had to return them due to a defect. Even though I broke them in, the lenght was good, not touching of the toes at the front and the heel sliping was settling.

But in the width I still felt that my toes could have more space and if I'd like to wear thicker socks it would be definitely no brainer.

Does anyone have any experience how biger in width is the wide version of the shoes? is it enough added space or too much?

Sebago loafer tear?

hey everyone…a week ago I got my new Sebago loafers and after walking around 10km I found this little tear/flaw/thing. It shows mainly if I push from inside of the shoe, when its normal its not so visible, but still more than on the other shoe.

i don’t know if it’s normal thing or the shoe has some flaw and I should try a waranty exchange. The shoes are a bit tight but it should be and the constructuon should make it through the break in tention on feet…

I’m adding photo of the shoe…the flaw is on the outer side of the shoe.

does anyone has some experience in this and can advic, thanks for help ✌🏻
