first time AC trip advice
i’m planning a sat-sun trip to AC for a concert at Hard Rock. i knew hotel prices were gonna be high but still trying to get the most bang for my buck. i’ve never been to AC, and i keep seeing mixed reviews/horror stories about the cheaper hotels near the venue, so i’m trying to figure out what actually makes the most sense.
would the better alternative be to 1). pay more for a nicer hotel within walking distance of Hard Rock/the boardwalk or 2). stay farther away at a nicer/cheaper place and rely on ubers? and if i go the uber route, what should i expect to pay on a saturday night in AC? are casino shuttles between properties actually useful for getting around and saving money?
would also love recommendations for fun things to do before the concert or the next morning/afternoon. i’m a major foodie so open to good/fun food spots, unique experiences, arcades, pools, must see boardwalk stuff, beginner-friendly casino/gambling recommendations… basically anything i should prioritize/that’s worth experiencing for a first-time AC trip
