APU Reputation & Employability for Business/Finance Programs?

How well is APU regarded in Malaysia and internationally? Their website mentions a 100% employability rate so how accurate is that in reality? Also do they help students in finding internships as it is mandatory in many of their undergraduate programs?

I know APU is known for tech-related programs, but how strong is it for business/finance degrees with specialisations like Business Analytics and AI, FinTech, or Economics? Out of UM, USM, APU and Monash university in Malaysia which option is better for business/economics/finance related fields? If possible rank them from best choice to last.

Choosing Between Monash Malaysia, UM, USM & APU for Business/Economics/Finance — Need Advice

I’m applying to UM, Monash University Malaysia, USM and APU.

If I receive offers from all of them, how would you rank them from best to last for business/economics/finance related fields?

Right now, I’m leaning toward Monash University Malaysia because it seems more internationally recognised, especially if I decide to pursue a master’s degree later in Europe, Canada, Australia, or the USA.

Monash sponsorship/proxy section confusion

I’m applying to Monash university in Malaysia as an international student and my father will personally pay all my tuition and living expenses.

Should I select:

  • “Yes, I have applied for or will be receiving a sponsorship/scholarship” or
  • “No, I don’t have a sponsor or a proxy”?

If I choose sponsorship, in the “sponsor organization” field should I write the company's name in which my father work?

A-Level requirements for Bachelors in Business and Commerce at University of Monash Malaysia

Hi everyone, I’m an international student applying to the University of Monash Malaysia for a Bachelor of Business and Commerce.

My A-Level grades are A in Economics, B in Maths and C in Physics.

I meet the minimum requirements, but I wanted to ask if anyone knows the cutoff or competitiveness for this program for international students.

Would these grades be acceptable for admission?

▲ 4 r/szeged

Hi everyone, I’m an international student considering coming to Szeged for university, and the University of Szeged really stood out to me. I’m thinking about applying for the BSc in Business Administration and Management, and I wanted to hear directly from people who live in Szeged or have experience with the university.

I’d really appreciate honest opinions about a few things:

  • How is the teaching quality, especially for this program?
  • What’s student life like in Szeged for international students? Is it easy to settle in and make friends?
  • Overall, do you think this degree is worth it in the current job market, especially in Hungary?
  • What are the job and internship prospects like in Szeged?
  • Do most students end up moving to Budapest or other cities for better opportunities?

I’d love to hear any personal experiences, advice, or even things I should be aware of before applying.

Hi everyone,

I’m an international student planning to apply to Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) for the Bachelor of Management program. I know USM is particularly well known for its STEM programs and is far away from KL, and I’m also applying to Monash University Malaysia and University of Malaya, but USM is still one of my options.

I wanted to ask if anyone here has gone through the USM interview process or has any idea about what kind of questions are usually asked. Are they mostly general and personal questions, or do they also include academic questions related to finance, like basic concepts or terminology? Even if you didn’t apply for the management program specifically but had an interview for another course, your experience would still be really helpful.

Also, since the interview is conducted online, how long does it usually last, and how important is it in the overall admission decision?

I’d really appreciate any guidance.

I’ve received admission to the Bachelor + Master (3+2 years) in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Oulu. I’ve completed my O Levels and A Levels in Pakistan, and the university has now asked me to verify my educational documents.

The easiest option for me seems to be getting them attested or certified by the British Council, which verifies certificates directly with the awarding body (Cambridge). However, the university specifically requires verification from the awarding body (Cambridge/CAIE), which is a time-consuming and costly process. Has anyone here with O/A Levels gone through this process? How did you get your documents verified?
