I was browsing through songs to find something that sound like sinking town when I found Tamagotoji by Yoeko Kurahashi

The intro and sounds in the music sound similar to the tadc main theme, does anyone know if this track was an inspiration?

If you focus on the piano under the vocal during Tamagotoji’s intro, it sounds similar to the iconic piano part in the main theme. Additionally, Tamagotoji also has a repeating piano part that sounds similar to the “day after, day after…” part of the tadc theme.

I don’t speak Japanese though, so I can’t say much about Tamagotoji. Yes, from what I understand it is Tamagotoji and not Tamagotchi. Feel free to correct me if this has been debunked or confirmed previously.
