How long did you feel tired after Septoplasty surgery? I have noticed at 4 weeks post op that I get winded from simple physical things I normally would not.

Do any other managers or there hate the raise aspect of their job? I can't stand it. It's uncomfortable, it gives me anxiety, and I dread raise season from this side of the desk. Before everyone jumps me, it's not because I don't want to give out higher wages. But everyone has a high number in their head of what they want, which in my business isn't usually realistic. So what should be a "thanks for the raise," turns into chit chat among workers and arguments. They all talk, which makes the process harder. It's nobody's business what someone else makes and pretty tacky to ask others what they make or received in a raise.

We budget for raises every year, but it's never enough to satisfy. There are limitations. And honestly it's always, "I want more," but they don't want to do more. I end up feeling irritated because rarely do people even show any appreciation for anything that I may go out of my way to do for them, giving perks, handing out gift cards, etc. It's become entitlement, and makes me want to shut it all off. Example: as they're grabbing their free catered meal, they're complaining they don't like the provided drinks and are asking for me to give them different drinks next time. I throw in a $100 gift card in a bag which I've prepared that they don't even say thank you for. I just shake my head is disbelief at the lack of manners.
