Do Erasmus Mundus consultancies genuinely help?

I applied to the Erasmus Mundus ECT+ program this cycle and passed the first evaluation round, but was rejected in the final stage.

Recently I came across a consultancy that helps students with Erasmus Mundus applications (SOPs, CVs, application strategy, etc.). I wanted to ask whether anyone here has actually used such agencies and whether they were genuinely helpful.

Did consultancy support improve your application, or is self-application usually enough with proper preparation?

Would really appreciate hearing experiences from past applicants.

Are Erasmus Mundus consultancies actually helpful?

I applied to the Erasmus Mundus ECT+ program this cycle and passed the first evaluation round, but was rejected in the second/final stage.

Recently I came across an overseas education consultancy that claims to help with Erasmus Mundus applications. They shared profiles of students who received admissions, including some fully funded scholarships and some partial scholarships. Their service fee is around ₹80k.

I wanted to ask honestly whether consultancy support is actually useful for Erasmus Mundus applications, especially for improving SOPs, CV presentation, and overall application strategy. Has anyone here used such agencies for Erasmus Mundus programs? Did it genuinely help, or is self-application usually enough with proper preparation?

Would really appreciate hearing experiences from past applicants.
