Possible Older Unit Buffs Part 50: Boothill

Okay, I PROMISE this one will be better than my TB one. But, to start, This drink is INCREDIBLY similar to Acheron's, which surprised me because... Well, their ACTUAL color schemes are the different, but Acheron only sees red, so they end up having different bases but similar tops.(Also, the Dark purple is the closest thing to Black? I know this event is forgotten about but... still). Also, the name is a play on Russian Roulette.

Anyways, Boothill... Well, Break, itself, is basically the Burst DMG archetype of this Game. But unlike the SUPER Break DPS who turn that Burst into DPS... Boothill is the only TRUE Break DPS. So, I'm gonna try to further enable his one shot capabilities.

1; Adjustment: Skill Standoff DMG Increase

Now, I'm increasing the DMG Boothill deals to the other party, but instead of just making Boothill take a set amount more DMG, the DMG he takes ALSO scales with the ability rank.

Because he uses a revolver, he should like, you know, be focused around the number 6? So instead of 50% Toughness Reduction increase, which stacks up to 3 times, each stack of Pocket Trickshot will be a 30% Toughness Reduction increase which stacks up to 6 times(so a max increase of 180%)

3; Adjustment: Physical Break DMG Scaling Off Toughness Reduction Instead Of Pocket Trickshot.

Currently how it works, is the Break DMG Multiplier is based on his Pocket Trick Shot stacks. To allow him to have more effective synergy with his supports, instead I'd make the Break DMG multiplier increase linearly based on the difference between his enhanced Basic ATK's current Toughness Reduction compared to it's base. Meaning I first need to change the Base Break DMG Multipliers.

120% Now, to better explain how this works. Boohill's enhanced Basic ATK, has a base toughness of 20, right? So at Rank 10, if Boothill has 0 Pocket Trickshot, it'll do Break DMG equal to 100% of his Physical Break DMG.

If he has 6 stacks of Pocket Trickshot, that increases his EBA's Toughness Reduction by 180%. 20 +180% is 56. 56 is 2.8 times more than 20. So the Physical Break DMG would also be multiplied by 2.8. Which would be 280% of Boothill's Break DMG instead of 100%.

4; Buff: EBA Toughness Cap removed.

Boothill’s EBA has a cap for the toughness it can reduce mentioned in his talent. I never liked caps so it’s gone now.

5; Change: A2 Focused more on One-Shots

I'm removing the CRIT stuff because Boothill is already my Break King, and I refuse to let his kit be slandered with CRIT any further. Instead, new effect:

"When attacking an enemy who at the start of Boothill's turn had 50% Max HP or more, the Final DMG dealt to that enemy during this turn is increased by 50%. Additionally, when attacking an enemy who at the start of Boothill's turn had 50% Max Toughness or more, the Final DMG dealt to that enemy during this turn is increased by 50%. These effects stack additively"

So Basically, if a character has both more than half their health and or more than half their toughness when he shoots them, and the Final DMG is effectively DOUBLED.

6; Buff: A4 DMG Reduction

The least I could do after making him take more DMG from his standoff partner, least I could do is help take less from enemies butting in. So I'll be changing this from 30% to 50%.

7; Addition: A4 Standoff target effect.

I feel like Standoff Effects should like, also give the enemy a Trojan buff? So the second effect of his A4 I want to be "While an enemy is in standoff with Boothil, and would be weakness broken by an other ally, their toughness is reduced to 1 instead."

This is... technically, a resistance buff, but in practice just confirms Boothill is the one breaking... which is probably better.

8; Adjustment: A6 wording

I'm just gonna make it say "When gaining Pocket Trickshot" instead of "When in Standoff and gaining Pocket Trickshot". It makes me feel uncomfortable.

9; Change: Eidolon 1

I'm just gonna change ALL his Eidolon's because I genuinely believe I can just make better ones. First:

"Each stack of Pocket Trickshot increases Boothill's Break DMG by 10%."

10; Change: Eidolon 2

"For every Toughness Boothill reduces within a singular attack, his Break Effect increases by 1%. The attack that reduces the most Toughness has it's Break Effect Buff kept."

Basically if Boothill makes an attack that reduces 56 Toughness, he gets 56% Break Effect. But, combing the Weakness Break Efficiency from his Fourth Eidolon, his EBA would instead do 112 toughness. So, Boothill will instead get 112% Break Effect. And even if he hits for another 56v Toughness EBA after using ult, he'll keep the 112% Break Effect Increase.

11; Change: Eidolon 4

"While Boothill has max energy, his Weakness Break Efficiency increases by 100%."

Now you don't have to feel bad about holding Ult for the sole purpose of refreshing the Weakness he implants.

12; Change: Eidolon 6

...Let's get crazy with it.

"Boothill's Break DMG ignores DMG Mitigation, DEF, and All-Type RES"

Anyway, I think I fixed him. Do we think he'd be broken now? Or does he still lose to other characters in terms of DPS. Let me know what we think.

I tired so hard to get the base to be Dreamy, or Uplifting instead of Broken, but I guess somethings in the past are too real to forget. Anyway, Robin buffs. The generalist of Version 2. But unlike Ruan Mei where I didn't try because I thought she was...safe(she was in fact NOT safe), I will ACTUALLY attempt to make Robin better.

1; Addition: Enhanced Basic ATK

She has this now. She can use it, while her ultimate is active. Of course, that also means she can now actually move while she has her Ultimate, but I'll get into that when I discuss her talent.

What it does, is it gives her a differing amount of energy depending on the rank, at rank 1 it gives 1, and rank 7 it gives 7, then applies her Physical Additional DMG from her Ultimate to all enemies.

Also, REGENERATES A SKILL POINT. I don't know why Enhanced Basic ATKs are allergic to regenerating those.

She's also not locked into this. She can still Skill if you're in a non attack heavy team to regenerate more energy, but that's like... your choice. She's still inherently SP positive. It does go down on her turns.

2; Buff: Ultimate ATK increase

Given her DMG increase on her Skill is 50%, I think the ATK increase can be a lil bit better to match like, half of that, So I'll put like, new Ratios below:

This is also gonna be my first time using the Table feature so I hope it doesn't look horrible.

3; Buff: Ultimate Trigger applications

Currently, how it works is the Phsycial Additional DMG triggers only one time, which is fine for Single Target attacks, but for your bounces, blasts, AoE, that is random, because it only happens once. I'm making it more like Jade's where it triggers against EACH enemy target hit, once per attack. So if you use an AoE in PF, 5 triggers.

4; Buff: Ultimate Triggers count as Ultimate DMG.

I don't know why they aren't.

5; Adjustment: Robin can move, no longer CC Immune.

Since it's a countdown, being CCed won't like, remove the Ultimate buff, but it WOULD be funny if she WAS CCed, her music stopped and whatever the normal battle music she replaced played again. That would be funny. Anyway, this is so she can use her EBA.

6; Buff: Robin now also allows herself to Immediately take action.

...Because duh.

7; Buff: Ultimate Countdown SPD Reduction

...Making the SPD slower actually makes the Countdown last LONGER right? So yea, instead of having 90 SPD, it's gonna have 80 SPD.

8; Buff: Ultimate can be used while Active

...There's really no REAL reason you shouldn't be able to do this? Aglaea is a perfect example. This just gives you a bit more control over when and how you want to Action Advance everyone.

9; Change: A2 Allows... ALL allied... THINGS on the action bar to immediately take action(excluding Countdowns).

Listen. If ANYONE, and I mean ANYONE, is gonna push everything up? It's gonna be Robin. And when I say EVERYTHING? I mean, EVERYTHING, Your team members, your memosprites, YOUR NON-MEMO-SPRITE SUMMONS, AHA, THE WEIRD UNKNOWABLE DOMAIN SCEPTERS THAT HAVE A SPD, YOUR FRICKEN CAT!

...Everything.
