Help me find an affordable and reliable DIVA-5 assessment/psychiatrist in Mumbai/Thane
Hi everyone, I’m 35M and live on the outskirts of Mumbai. I recently decided to seek professional help for possible ADHD. I’ve tried therapy in the past, but it wasn’t particularly helpful.
I had an initial consultation through Amaha, and the psychiatrist felt that I may have ADHD along with severe anxiety. They recommended a DIVA-5 assessment, along with blood tests and an ECG.
The problem is the cost. Amaha quoted me Rs.7.5k for the DIVA-5 assessment, and their psychiatrist consultation is around 2,500 for 30 minutes.
Unfortunately, that’s more than I can comfortably afford, so I’m looking at other options.
I had a few questions:
Does the quality/validity of a DIVA-5 assessment vary significantly between clinics? For example, if one clinic charges Rs.5,000–6,000 and another charges 7,500, is there any reason to prefer the more expensive one?
Are there any affordable and reputable psychiatrists or clinics in Mumbai/Thane where consultations are around ₹1,000–1,500 per session maybe?
I came across https://coachformind.com/, which offers a DIVA assessment for around ₹6,500. Has anyone here used them or can vouch for their assessment?
If you’ve personally had a good experience with a psychiatrist/clinic for ADHD assessment in Mumbai, Thane, or nearby areas, I’d really appreciate your recommendation, online works too.
And any recommendation for Good DIVA test clinic.
Honestly, researching all these options is giving me almost as much anxiety as the original problem 😅. I’m also second-guessing whether I’m overthinking this and should just go with Amaha.
I’d really appreciate any advice, especially from people who have actually gone through an ADHD assessment in Mumbai/Thane.
