Why is there a big gap between the further Century City station and the Westwood station on Wilshire? Are there any potential options to put an infill station here? What about adding 2nd entrances to already existing stations on the B and D line? I feel like it’s a missed opportunity to capture more of the population density, despite what the monetary cost is. Can someone “fill” me in?

LAX APM is going to open up effectively reducing time from terminals to and from LAX Metro Center to under 10 minutes. I expect the K and C Line capacities to increase dramatically so when can we expect to see 3 car trains in the near future? Will it be before the Olympics?
