Best shampoo and conditioner for men with more bad hair days. Does anybody know why this is happening to me???
I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while and most advice about the best shampoo and conditioner for men feels too generic or ignores how much hair can change from day to day.
For context I have wavy hair not tight curls but not straight either. It can look good one day and completely different the next if something in the routine is off.
After trying a few combinations and paying attention to what yall have to say i do agree with SOME things.
Shampoo is where most of the damage seems to happen. A lot of shampoos feel great at first. Hair feels clean and light but after a few days it gets dry, frizzy, and harder to manage.
IF A GENTLER shampoo used less often seems to work better than a stronger one used regularly, WHYY ARE MY HAIR GREASY ON DAY 3???
Conditioner also matters MOREE RIGHT??
I feel like for wavy hair esp it does most of the heavy lifting. And there's real difference between a conditioner that actually softens and one that just coats the hair shows up after a few days not right away. When it truly works ive noticed my hair being easier to detangle and not puffing up as much after drying.
Washing every day HELPS IN SHORT TERM but its made things soooo much worse now.
It made my hair less predictable bcs TELL ME WHYY some days it looks fine, other days it just felt off. Why do i have more bad hair days than anything else
Spacing washes out helped it settle into a more consistent pattern instead of constantly resetting.BUT ITS STILL NOT THERE YET.
I also noticed that products marketed for men don’t seem very different. A lot of the so-called best shampoo and conditioner for men are just simpler formulas with stronger scents. Like bro my hair doesn’t care about that as much as it cares about how the formula works with your hair type!!!!
Whyy dont these companies understand that more than anything, wavy hair NEEDS BALANCE. Too much moisture makes it heavy and flat. Too little makes it frizzy and undefined.
So NOW IM HOPING ITS LESS ABT FINDING ONE PRODUCT AND MORE ABT FINDING THE RIGHT BALANCE SO PLS HELPP MEE
Here are things im wondering abt. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT WORKS AND WHAT DOESN'T:
- milder shampoo and letting the conditioner sit longer.
ORR not washing every day, and paying attention to how my hair behaves after a few days instead of just right after washing??
At this point, I WILL TRY ANY ROUTINE somebody with good hair days suggests. WHAT ARE REALLLY GOOD SHAMPOOS AND CONDITIONERS THAT WILL GUARANTEE MORE GOOD HAIR DAYSS
