Should I give advice?
My (29f) partner (32m) and I are newly poly and he is going on his first date (mutual friend/potential partner) today. We dont makeout even though its something I very much enjoy. I remember when we first started living together, I noticed he doesn't brush his tongue because it makes him gag. It makes me gag too but its a small price to pay for fresh breath imo. I asked if he would start and he said he would not do it because its uncomfortable for him. Should I suggest he start brushing his tongue, if not for me, but for other potential partners? I dont want to hurt his feelings or make him feel im being critical of him but if they do kiss, im worried his date will be turned off by him, and maybe even me, because she probably assumes we kiss/have similar hygiene (we dont). How would you go about this?
