Frigidaire freezer fffu16f2vw not freezing

I have a Frigidaire upright freezer, model fffu16f2vw, which is no longer freezing.

I believe the door seal was slightly ajar for a day or two when I I noticed that the internal temp was in the high 20’s. I removed the obstruction and made sure it was resealed but 24 hours later the temp had climbed to 31 degrees F.

So I removed everything and let it sit at room temp with the door open for 24 hours.

Then I checked the condenser coils, evaporator coils, the fan, and the compressor and all seemed to be running / in good shape and there was no ice / water remaining. I plugged it back in and came the next morning and it only cooled down to 48 degrees.

I opened up the cover and looked at the evaporator coils and they were clear except for ice built up on the line into them (see photo). The fan and compressor started running shortly after I opened the door to check things.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

DIYer here and this is my first attempt at masonry. I installed this natural stone veneer and my wife wanted a dry stack look, but I rushed a little and as you can see there are some bigger joints.

Overall we like how it looks but you can see through to the scratch coat on some of the bigger gaps when it’s full daylight. We thought of just grouting everything but then again many of the joints are rather tight too.

Just looking for opinions on how you might approach something like this. Oh, and also, I kept one stone loose to cover an outlet but still keep the J box accessible, so grouting that one in is a no-no, but it will likely have a picture in front of it anyway.
