I’m in grade 12, trying to decide between iSci and Life Sciences and honestly have no idea. My goal is med school, so I know that GPA and extracurriculars matter a lot.
iSci seems amazing for research experience, but I’ve heard the workload is brutal and I’m worried that leaves little room for ECs, volunteering, and all the stuff med schools actually care about. Life Sci feels more flexible and manageable, but I don’t want to miss out on the research side of things.
Anyone have thoughts? Is the iSci grind worth it, or is Life Sci the smarter play choice?
