Looking to join 411 just need a few questions out in the open

After reading and reading 411 seems the most fitting unit for me. Now the main question, funding I'll be coming from the UK how much is a sensible amount to bring to last me until I'm fully in the unit. My problem is my funds rn ain't crazy high right now. Worst case I can save for a few months. That thought fucking sucks though. I want to be doing something asap. Ill stop with the debbie downer moment and ask how have others felt working with 411 ? A normal day to day within 411 would be good to hear about too

Wtf is the hold up with the UK postal and custom system

At first it was sat at healthrow for about 4 days saying its moved to its destination, no updates. Then showed its at customs since the 4th. No updates since. I was excited to receive a care package of sweets and goodies from the States. Family are also annoyed its taking time after the money spent and my list of sweets and crisps they got sent to get and im still waiting. There's no dairy or meat products at all
