Ok I’m a postie. I’ve learned of something that seems very difficult to understand atm.
The DO of my office and a line manager have set up a freight business of their own which has been in ops since July 26. It’s listed on company house Having done a AI helped search into this It would seem they are taking on staff on a self employed basis own van. Etc. surely this is a conflict of interest. I know you can run a business outside your job at Royal Mail. But this type of business? I’m looking into sending Royal Mail an anonymous email naming them. And the business. I’ve seen you can do this somehow. Anyone got any thoughts on this. I would really love to see them lose their job. (Sorry they are assholes )

Was working today and nicked a parked cars rear light. It was a tiny culdesac with cars parked in the turning area. It was either reverse on a main road or try what I think was like a 20 point turn so I went with the latter. I did check for damage and it was tiny buffer damage to the van which was nothing compared to what it’s been through, and the cars rear light(No crack just a mark) . Should I come clean or just leave it? The car was a pretty old focus but still am quite conflicted

Are the new 24 plate onward vans tracked by managers for telematics? I have been going over slightly with speed, not obviously ridiculous. The built in camera is not working though as its not been set up.

I've heard a lot of horror stories on here about the job in regards to workload, management, etc. It's making me re-think my decision before even starting. I thought this would be quite a nice job after the first month of settling in or so. Any advice/tips? Thanks.
