I understand why VMs are always backed up in their entirety when rsync is used for this purpose. For "normal" files, the backup works fine, and only modified files are backed up. However, for VMs, it would be useful to perform the backup at the block level. I found the following regarding this:

If using raw KVM/QEMU, use qemu-img with internal or external snapshots combined with tools like virt-backup or block-pull/backup APIs.

Perhaps others share the same need—feel free to make use of this.

Is there a timeline when the above will be added in a update? After that i'm willing to buy my second license because i use Fygo OS for 95% as virtual machine, fileserver (folder sharing) and of course to backup everything.

Stabilize the foundation first and spend less time developing apps and other bells and whistles; we’re already making good headway with Docker in this regard, which is why.

For instance, I cannot change the backup destination (from internal volume to USB disk) within an existing backup job; instead, I have to create a new backup job, and only then do I get the option to select an external drive.

When i make/import a VM within virtual machine and place it on volume2, a qcow2 image is there created with root as owner. Therefore i cannot copy this file (as administrator) to for example volume1 (cannot copy at all). Is there a reason why VM images are getting root as owner and not the creator of that file for example?

Is there a way to name teamfolders without the "team-" section?

When i export a VM from QNAP's virtualisation stations the options are only OVF and QVM but in Fygo-OS only OVA can be imported. Used a procedure how to get from OVF to OVA (Through VMware workstation) but that didn't work quite right. Which is strange, considering that under the hood, both are simply KVM/QEMU.

Is there a way to add a team-folder in the Photo app instead of a user-folder?

When a want to add a folder in the Photo app everything but team-folders are displayed
