I wanted to share a dating experience as a heads up for others.
I recently went out with someone I met online who presented himself as serious about a relationship/friendship/travel partner, but his actions didn’t match. There was a lot of early intensity (constant messaging, compliments, future talk), but in person he was flirting with other women while with me and seemed more focused on attention than connection. He also had me taking photos of him that I later realized were likely being used for dating profiles.
Overall, it felt like he was more interested in validation and casual attention than a genuine relationship. Just a reminder to trust your instincts if something feels off, especially if someone comes on very strong early but doesn’t show consistent respect. He also made comments about very specific physical preferences after the fact.
He also presented himself as very well-traveled and multilingual, but some of that felt exaggerated or more about image than authenticity.
Stay safe out there 💛
