Roommate consistently forgetting his keys and an incident
I(M25) have a cordial relationship with my roommate (M29), we rarely talk for more than 5 minutes, but 8 months into our lease, things have been pretty chill for both of us I'd say, we are planning on renewing.
An issue however, that has been persistent is that this guy forgets his keys all the time. Our door locks when you close it and he has forgotten his keys about 10 times since we moved in together. Usually it's solved with not too many problems, although it is very frustrating.
However, last night it really pissed me off. I had gone out with my girlfriend and gotten back to our apartment around midnight, and passed out soon after. However, at 1:45 am, I am woken up by my roommate peeking into my room with his girlfriend through my side door to the hallway which is blocked off by a dresser. This apartment is a railroad apartment with two doors into the hallway however, I have this one blocked off and bolted. I did have it unlocked however, I guess with enough force he was able to prop it open. He had called me 3 times at 1:30am while I was asleep and gave me no earlier heads up about being without his keys.
He apologized in the moment however I was so discombubulated after waking up I didn't even respond when I finally let him in. Any advice for how to approach this? Like I'm pretty pissed off but not sure how big of a deal I should make it.
