This might be a long shot. Late 80s or early 90s smooth rock song. I remember a guy who says “I” for a few seconds, and maybe ends the sentence with the word place? Basically this one sentence is the most memorable part of the song. I remember female not like vocals, but hums in the background. Type of song you’d hear in a sears or Macy’s or a similar department store.

Some other clues. He says Iiiii some something place. I wanna see you! Or something, he ends the sentence with a more excited? Tone.
