I had a membrane sweep yesterday and I was dilated to a 2-3cm and 70% effaced. My midwife said it is a 50-50 chance and it’s not always successful but, she still said since I’m already dilated and effaced she thinks my body is ready and the sweep is a high probability I’ll go into labor in the next few days. Well, I started having period like cramps after the appointment and then some prodamol labor cramps maybe but after that I had a “bloody show”. Me and my husband went for a walk and went to sleep but it’s almost 8am. At the 22 hr mark and I still feel period like cramps.. just want to know about anyone else’s success stories. I’m definitely antsy for my tiny to be here.
