Was I wrong for calling the manager?
I always go to the same Starbucks on my way to work to get a breakfast sandwich only. Usually takes about 5 min total. This week there’s a new employee who takes a long time to answer at the drive thru, to open the window, to take the payment, and to hand me the sandwich. This morning, I ordered a protein box. Doesn’t even have to be prepared. There were 4 cars in front of me. It took 5 min for each of us to be acknowledged at drive thru, then around 3-7 min for each car at the window. Once I got to the window, I saw the employee at the register, she did not open the window, after about 4-5 minutes, she still hadn’t opened the window, so I had to drive off or I’d be late for work. I spent 20 minutes there for nothing. So I called and informed the manager since it’s getting worse as the week goes on. Was I wrong to call the manager?
