Can I safely mix 91 and 85 octane to reach or exceed 87 octane?

I love where the lowest grace octane available is 85. My 2015 requires at least 87 octane. Costco is the cheapest place to get gas, but they do not have 87 octane. Can I mix the octanes safely without messing up my engine? Maybe even doing 75% 91 and 25% 85?

I have a 2015 and let it sit for almost a year without starting it

It started perfectly after the battery was recharged. I still only have about 65k miles on it, because I don't go nanny places.

Long story short, I thought about selling it because my husband has a work truck, and we don't really need 2 vehicles. Well, after it started and I really thought about selling it, I nearly had a breakdown. I love my Trax. I'm hoping to get a few more years out of my baby, and I will definitely get a newer model once this one goes.

One thing led to another, and we dug ourselves a very deep hole. Currently we are paying collection agencies and such, but I just feel like we are drowning. We make too much to qualify for chapter 7, but definitely are not comfortable with how deep we dug ourselves.

It's very possible I won't have a job by the end of the year, if not earlier than that due to cuts. I definitely won't be able to find a job making as much as I am making now. Is it worth it to start the process of chapter 13 and then convert to 7 later? Or should we just hold out?
