Getting fantastic MPG

I drive about 85 miles a day, nearly all highway, to and from work and I'm loving the economy my '25 2RS is getting. This is over the 50 mile span the car gives the option to choose.

Photo taken as I started the car, so the light show doesnt mean anything.

2019 Turbo replace & more

Unfortunately after 80k miles, the turbo went out on my 2019 Trax. I got it replaced (and a new water pump) but still am getting Service Stabilitrak & Reduced Engine power (limp mode) messages. We replaced the pedal and computer, but nervous to dig into the wiring. Anyone else dealing with this?

Dealership issues

Okay so I bought a Chevy Trax on July 20th. Then two weeks later there was a leak happening to it. I took it to the dealership on August 4th and I didn’t get an update for it I had to call to see what was going on. They said it was the water pump and that it’ll take 5 to 7 days to get to the dealership. Then I called on August 12th and the guy who does the tickets said that it’ll be ready Friday I waited and no call. Then I called today in the morning and they said that it could be ready by today or if not tomorrow. My dad went to the dealership to see what is going on and now they are replacing engine. And whenever I called the guy who does the tickets said that they have to take the whole front to access the water pump so now I don’t know what to believe. So whoever is a mechanic tell me if this is true or not. Also my parents are saying that I should get a lawyer because they haven’t communicated with me with what’s happening. So what do I do? Also sorry for the errors I’m on mobile.

Our stock speakers bump hella good. But not ment for everyone to try out

Ok while its no replacement for hardware. but since doing rootless james dsp on my android phone. Its bliss. I lose android auto. But eh simple to get it back to normal.

Iphone users you're on your own.

All i know is the stock speakers in my 25 LT is holding up to a bass heavy tune, even radio is tuned. Even rock, and other types are good. And isnt bad.

I wouldn't recommend doing this not because it can be bad just the methods the app uses to inject the enhancements is sus but it uses screen capture) and sometimes causes issues %2 chance of issues. But if you dont care and smart enough to do it. Go for it and enjoy till one can afford the upgrade.

All i know is i could blow speakers with the better android eq app.

But the app can help save an expensive set of ear buds from being replaced.

2025 LT rattling

2025 LT - It doesn’t rattle all the time but it usually starts up when I go over something and that “activates” it. I can’t seem to pinpoint where it’s coming from except hearing it from the passenger side. It’s been going on for a long time and it’s annoying as hell 😂

hunk of junk

this happens literally every single time i drive my vehicle. my phone will try to connect to the bluetooth, both screens will black out, then my display will just get stuck.

1st generation Trax

Hello all!

Where are my fellow 1st generation Trax owners?

How are things going? Any major issues?

I have a 2018 Trax LT AWD.

36k miles and no issues (Knock on wood)😬

Anything I should look out for?

I did write a similar post earlier this year. Still curious.

Issue with Trax

I bought a new Trax and I changed the oil with vegetable oil and I’m worried it ruined the engine? Can that ruin engine or is it fine?

EDIT: this is last time I buy Chevy bad quality scam

E-85 Convert

Love my 2025 2RS so very, very much at 10,880 miles. My only gripes about this car are three: she has the turning radius of a school bus, there are no backseat cupholders or charging ports in the 2RS, and there's that spotty CarPlay connectivity I think has been mentioned here. I've added a roof rack, small mud flaps, and window guards.

Recently started putting E-85 in to avoid the $6 premium in San Diego. After three tanks of math I'm paying about $.13 a mile on it as opposed to $.18 a mile on the 91. Yeah, I have to get gas twice as often, BUT:

I find her way more responsive on the E-85, quicker off the line and shifting much smoother (this is my first automatic and it's been a tough adjustment not to have control) and a not-subtle power boost when accelerating.

Just wanted to share that experience and her ridiculous aftermarket dash trim. 😅 Say hello to Nimbus.
