I hitchhiked for the first time and it was AWESOME, but I feel bad.
I’m 15 afab and have. ALWAYS always been warned to neeeeeeever hitch hike. Especially with men. But today I walked to a gas station for something (I’m not supposed to leave campus till my dad picks me up.) and I realized I wouldn’t be able to get back before he got back if I walked. I asked this random guy to take me back when I walked past a gym parking lot. I explained and said my dad would murder me if he came and I wasn’t there. He says he didn’t wanna get involved, I offered to pay him and he was about to refuse and he saw my phone keychain (it’s a pysduck) took a deep ass sigh and said to get in. I go to catholic school so it’s super obvious I’m young. Skirt uniform and all. He wouldn’t let me give him a 20 but I gave him a five as I got out. It felt like a massive adrenaline rush but now I feel kinda guilty cause ik my parents would lose their shit
