Sorry if this is a dumb question!

Ive been playing on a guest account for a few years now. My question is, if I link my guest account to my apple or google account, will my data (achievements, completed challenges, etc.) be transferred over from the guest account to the apple/google account? Or would i lose all my progress? This would all be done on the same device, just btw!

I tried to log in with my apple account on another device, and this is how I discovered i’ve been using a guest account all this time. Will me previously logging in with my apple account on another device affect what happens with my data when I link my guest account to it?
