An unusual thank you to Jagex
I'm sorry if this is inappropriate or the wrong place to post this but I wanted to say thank you to Jagex for a few things.
RuneScape has always been there for me, an escape from the sometimes harsh reality we face throughout life.
This was more true than ever for myself when I was facing something nobody should have to with my dad. He was diagnosed with terminal stage 4 glioblastoma and sadly lost him in September of last year.
Noticing you could change your companions name to a list of presets I was taken back to find my dad Peters name on that list. So even now he's gone he's still following me around and with me in my happy place away from the stresses of life.
I would like to thank Jagex for continuing to make RuneScape a place I can return to and call home and the ability to keep dad with me in the smallest of ways.
Has RuneScape ever done this for you? I would love to hear if anyone could relate and tell others about why RuneScape is your happy place.
