Moving into a new apartment and need layout advice for my living room (13'×20')

The windows are on the SIDE wall… not the back wall like most cookie cutter apartments. I'm mounting a Samsung Frame TV so the couch can't face the windows like the images I posted.

Two options I'm considering:

  1. Float the couch by the kitchen peninsula, back of sofa facing the entryway and have TV on the back wall — worried it'll feel too narrow and the sofa back will look bare

  2. Couch in front of the windows, TV on the opposite wall — but what do I do with the now-empty back wall?

Also planning to use mirrors to maximize the one-sided natural light. Attaching floor plan for reference.

Im trying to find other cookie cutter apartments with a similar floor plan for inspiration but seems like a corner unit with a window on one wall isn’t common.

Would appreciate any advice!
