Hey everyone,
I’m trying to set up a new SD card for my R36 Ultra and running into issues getting games to show up.

Current setup:

• Device: R36 Ultra
• OS showing on device: EmuELEC 4.7
• New SD card: 64GB (formatted to FAT32 using command prompt)

What I’ve done so far:

• Formatted the SD card to FAT32
• Added folders like arcade, atari2600, etc.
• Tried adding ROMs (from Tiny Best Set Go arcade pack)

Issue:

• Device either doesn’t detect games or shows empty lists

What I’m unsure about:

1. Does the R36 Ultra require the OS to be flashed onto the SD card even if EmuELEC shows on the device?
2. Should ROMs go inside a specific roms/ directory instead of root folders?
3. For arcade games, should they stay zipped or be extracted?
4. Is there a specific EmuELEC/ArkOS image recommended for this device?

Goal:
Just want a clean setup where:

• SD card boots properly
• Games show up correctly
• No trial and error with folders

If anyone has a working folder structure or setup guide for this device, that would help a lot.
