Hi guys, so, I got an infection and was given amoxicillin/clavulanate and I was told it wouldn’t have any interactions with the spironolactone tablets I’m taking orally. However, I am also on Estradiol tablets that I take orally under my tongue. I’ve read that estradiol and amoxicillin can have negative interactions in CIS woman using it for birth control. This includes diarrhea, vomiting, nausea and it is even said to reduce the effects of estradiol. Could this also happen to me? I’m just a little worried because my provider had to give me a different antibiotic due to the interaction it had with spiro. Thank you so much for your time in advice!
