Notation Chess Coach - iOS and soon Mac. You can play on the app vs bots powered by Stockfish 18 and rodent IV, play on lichess or even OTB using a Chessnut e-board.

Every move and game are analysed on device using a combination of Stockfish 18 evals and my bespoke and unique positional and piece analysis. This is all based on the 7 element work by Dan Heisman and is the first time this traditional coaching analysis has been applied to a commercial app. On top of that positional and game analysis layers that ensure that at Bonnie t does the LLM invent facts. It can’t. All it does is narrate provable chess facts to you, in a way you can understand and use to improve.

You can do this in a coaching game vs engine or apply to any game in post game review.
Uses your own ChatGPT or anthropic api key if you want, with a beta on device LLM that’s better on pro/ipad devices.
Or don’t use the LLM at all and just see template based advice.
