Gym and personal trainer recs
Hi everyone! I'm moving to NYC this week and looking for gym and personal trainer recommendations near Hudson Yards.
I'm a complete beginner to lifting and looking for consistent 1-on-1 training sessions (2-3x a week) to build a solid foundation. I'd also love to work out in a gym with a nice environment and amenities.
I've been looking at Lifetime and Chelsea Piers since both offer in-house personal training, but I'm open to working with an independent trainer if that tends to offer a more personalized experience. Would love to hear thoughts on which route is better for a beginner.
Bonus: I'm also a big Pilates person, so any studio recommendations in the city would be amazing!
