hi everyone! first time poster only using because i need urgent advice.
it is currently 11pm, i have a flight to the Dominican Republic (POP) with American Airlines from Miami international airport at 12pm the next day. my group missed our cruise, and we are trying to fly to DR on Sunday and board our cruise on Monday. The cruise line approved our boarding verbally. Their contact centre opens 9am-6pm
when we went to check in for the flight tonight the agent said we need proof, in the form of email or letter, from MSC cruise that we will board this cruise on Monday before checking us in. Nothing we show them on our phones is enough proof for them, as we are foreigners in the US. Emails from our travel agency, itineraries in the cruise app, etc. They need written proof from official MSC with our group’s names. We are Canadian, when we called MSC America they couldn’t do anything, the Canadian contact centre is open tmr at 9am. Now we have to wait til 9 to call MSC and hope they write something. Is there anything else we can do? Rly need advice here!
