How long does it take for orders to show up on IPPSA?

Going off the title, how love before a deployment or mobilization did it take for orders to show in IPPSA?

Long story short, I deliver bulk chemicals to a chemical plant for my civilian employer, if they go without product, very bad things happen and a massive shitshow will ensue. That being said, I have a mob coming up that I am on and I want to let my employer know sooner rather than at the last minute so we can get our customer take care of and have manpower in place. Without orders in hand, there is no way I am telling them however.

Long story short, I’m currently an 88M, E5 and just hit my 10 year mark.

At my last drill, I was informed that my unit will be disbanding in the near future, which means I’ll either need to reclass into a new MOS or travel based on the needs of the Guard.

I’m at a point in my career where I’d like to pursue something new, ideally an MOS that could translate into civilian opportunities outside the Guard, preferably one that could also provide a security clearance and open additional career doors.

I’ve been looking into 35G and 15W. I reached out to a recruiter regarding 35G and was told I may need to take the cyber test as part of qualification.

I’m also fairly set up on the civilian side, so I am also open to the possibility of doing a “cool guy” mos.

You can also send me a DM if you would like to know my state if that would provide more context.

Going off the title, why can’t the majority of the 11B’s I work with read the room and chill out. There is really no need whatsoever to be as intense as you are when we are just going about our day and doing PMCS on vehicles or knocking out admin tasks.

I get it, you are very good at what you do and I would certainly be glad to have you with me if shit hit the fan, but Jesus, it’s a total buzzkill. Not every situation in the military demands an angry stick up your ass.
