Range Hood Insert install with no cabinet access.
My contractor has recently installed custom kitchen millwork.
During the millwork fabrication, there was some miscommunication and the range hood cabinet was fabricated with a fixed front panel. This cabinet is already installed.
The range hood cabinet has a cutout on the bottom for the range hood but there is no top access to the cabinet because of an existing bulkhead that has HVAC inside.
The contractor says its no big deal, but appliance installation is not part of their scope.
My question, is it even possible to install an insert range hood when there is no access to the cabinet to connect and tape vent ductwork? And if it is possible, what are the steps?
