We’ve been dating for about 5/6 months, and I know that’s not long at all but the situation is starting to weigh on my mind. I’m about to go into my senior year of undergrad, and he has about 2 more years left in the army. When we first started dating, we talked about kids and recognized our differences, but never really discussed what that meant. I’m personally of the opinion that however long our relationship lasts, I’m going to love him and enjoy our time together. Knowing that eventually our beliefs on kids would lead us to break up. But now I’m wondering if it would be less painful to just have this convo with him soon. I did try to bring it up once but he was distracted and didn’t respond. Are we wasting each others time? I feel so young not even being out of college I haven’t even considered any of this. Has anyone else gone through this?
