First time polishing
Planning on polishing for the first time soon. I’m planning on using a HF Bauer DA and Koch Chemie P6.02 and it’s correlating orange pad. I like my other KCX products so it feels like a good solid brand to go with. Plus I really like that they produce correlating pads with each compound. It makes it simple for amateurs like me.
I’ve seen info that P6.02 has fillers in it. In my research so far I haven’t found evidence that fillers are a bad thing per se but also create the possibility for hazing after some time.
I really liked the results I’ve seen from retailers on YouTube using P6.02 and I like that it has a sealer in it as well. Because when I go to polish my truck I have to get it all done in one shot and I’m not sure if I’ll have time to immediately add sealant or a ceramic coating.
If fillers are no good should I try F6.01 instead?
P.S. how do I know if a vehicles clear coat is hard or soft? I hear that term a lot but I have no idea how to tell.
