Applied for a frontend role and got an AI recruiter that required camera, microphone, screen recording, and an “AI interview.”
I asked how the recordings are stored and whether they’re used for AI training. The response basically said: “not specified.”
Then I pointed out the obvious symmetry problem:
If companies use AI to interview candidates, candidates will eventually use AI to represent themselves too.
The AI recruiter proceeded to loop the exact same scripted response twice.
We have officially reached the stage where humans argue with recruiting pipelines instead of recruiters.
