I'm a builder researching and designing a treatment system to install for a new well at my house. My current plan is: well > spin down filter > softener (Fleck5600sxt 24,000 grain) > under sink RO.

I am stuck on trying to determine if I need an AIO to deal with the manganese of if the softener will be able to handle it. From what I can gather, getting rid of manganese can be hard with lower iron levels.

Any advice from professionals would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
