hi! I got my hormonal iud inserted just over 3 weeks ago, and I started my period a couple of days after insertion. It’s much lighter than normal but I am on 2 weeks and counting now, with no signs of stopping. It’s very inconvenient as I’m a swimmer, but I was advised not to use tampons or anything at this stage. It’s not normal to get a checkup after insertion where I’m from, so I was wondering if this was worth contacting my clinic?
