17DPO! First positive ever and I’m in total shock.
I’m still in disbelief, but those two lines showed up in less than a minute! Today is Mother’s Day, and it’s the most surreal gift I could have ever imagined.
Context:
- 30F | Cycle 5 of TTC.
- The "Oops" moment: For the first 4 cycles, I unknowingly used a spermicidal lubricant (I’m prone to UTIs). We switched to Pre-Seed (Premom) this cycle.
- My recent bloodwork had me worried—TSH at 3.95, very low Ferritin, and Vitamin D deficiency. I felt my body wasn’t "ready," but I started a supplement called GRAVIT and kept tracking ovulation.
I was 100% sure my period was coming. I’ve had "period cramps" coming and going for a week now. I’m 3 days late, so I took the test just to stop the stress before going back to work tomorrow… and there it was.
I’m overwhelmed, excited, and honestly terrified that it’s not real. Has anyone else felt like their period was definitely coming right when they got their positive?
I’d love some reassurance because my brain just hasn't processed this yet. It’s crazy!💖
